If you want to think about something, or something fun, ‘Memoirs of me’ is the blog for you. Called ‘privy-trifles’, it is just the right size for short stories, inspirational quotes, mediocre thoughts and basically writing about life as it is. The short story, written under the title Metro Diaries, is very good.
The writer is also smart and intelligent. He posts stories in episodes, or as we often call them- series format. Once you’ve read the first part, you can’t help but search and read the next and the next. And I love all the post titles–“Inspired Inscribes”, “Splurge and Emotions”, “55 Fiction”, “Flash Fiction”, “Mind over matter”, “Wishful Thinking”, “Painting Life”, and many more. His poems are short and sweet. He writes from the heart, and he is an eternal dreamer, just like me. And like many of you out there.
If you’re an avid book reader,
Love to read books of various genres, and want to pick the right book from several, you can completely rely on ALPHA readers – the book reviews are great, and the book ratings are reliable, and hers, I’ll bet, this is the best book blog ever in the blogosphere!! He writes about every aspect of the book, from blurb, plot, characters, storyline, pros and cons, making comparisons – all with a personal point of view and touch. Only one downside is, you won’t find more than a few Indian books on his blog. And the only blog that can prove a formidable competitor to this one, is Novel Novice- also a indian tech blog, dedicated to novels, especially the YES genre.
If you have a weakness for cultures around the world, languages, and especially films from nooks and crannies of the world, you’re bound to love ‘Passion for Movies’. A very young blogger, Arun Kumar, watches and reviews films from Iran, Israel, Spain, Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and many other countries.
And last but not least is the blog of one of my favorite authors, Preeti Shenoy-‘Lots of Love!’ This one is an exception, because I love reading whatever he writes and shares – his life, his thoughts, his arguments, his campaigns, his likes and dislikes; posts about her daily life, her dog, her children, her books, book signing ceremonies, and interviews – you name it!
Indian Touch of Elegance – Visible With the Onset Social Shopping in India
There are many new concepts and practices which have gained high appreciation and a greater number of usages and implementations have resulted in the Indian subcontinent. One such concept is known worldwide today as social shopping. This is, of course, a hallmark of the online way of shopping with social networking features that have included much-needed interaction features between users of this shopping site.
It is certainly not logical to assume that everyone will have a good understanding of the processes involved in online shopping and, therefore, there are many people who even though they want to try to buy goods online are unable to do so due to lack of knowledge of the resulting process.
The application of the concept of social shopping in India is certainly one of the golden gifts for all humans who have not mastered the online shopping feature. The main feature of a social shopping website is the presence of features normally found on social networking sites and blogs. It can be said and it is also in simple terms that social shopping websites combine the features of blog websites, forum websites and shopping website features.
Hence, one can get information about the product he wants to buy by reading blogs, forum posts, posted questions, videos containing advertisements about the product, etc. This is proving to be one of the most attractive features of social shopping. There are many features apart from those mentioned above in this shopping site. One of them is the freedom given to users to have a say over various aspects of the product. This is usually implemented in a variety of ways with one of them being the presence of a forum thread or a feedback popup inviting the user to write down his or her perception of the website.
The features quoted above are not simply ‘present’ on the website and the reason is that the feedback provided by the users is taken into consideration and if it proves to be useful, implemented. Therefore, the interest of users in this type of shopping website must be huge. In fact, if one considers the shopping websites that are doing well in India today, then a common feature among them that will be noticed is that they are all social shopping sites.
Social shopping in India, therefore, is receiving positive reception from the Indian public in general and this can be seen by the increasing number of websites that have implemented social shopping features. The social shopping website business is doing quite well with the number of loyal customers of this website growing and that too every day. Moreover, the products sold on this website are usually products made by companies that are well known globally.
